Former APC House of Representatives aspirant from Sagbama LGA, Bayelsa State, Michael Bless Olomu, has resigned from the party.
Olomu announced his resignation in a letter dated June 24, 2026, addressed to the APC Ward Chairman in Ebedebiri Ward 5.
He said the decision was made in his best interest, adding that it was time for him to “bow out,” while thanking the party for the opportunities and privileges he enjoyed.
His resignation comes as political activities intensify in Bayelsa ahead of the 2027 general elections.
