BREAKING: TINUBU ORDERS ARREST OF FAKE AGENCY PROMOTER, SUSPENDS THREE PERMANENT SECRETARIES
President Bola Tinubu has ordered the immediate arrest of George Buchi Nwabueze and suspended three permanent secretaries following the discovery of another allegedly fake agency operating within the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).
The suspended officials are M.S. Danjuma, Nadungu Gagare and Richard P. Pheelangwah.
ICPC Chairman Musa Aliyu said the agency, identified as the “National Brands Development and Made-in-Nigeria Special Project Office,” had allegedly been given office space within the OSGF without presidential approval and contrary to existing laws.
The discovery was made during an ongoing ICPC investigation into the fictitious Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIFC) and weaknesses within Nigeria’s public service.
