OSUN GOV. ADELEKE WELCOMES APC CANDIDATE OYEBAMIJI’S CALL FOR PEACE AFTER GUBER ELECTION

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has welcomed APC governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji’s call for peace following the conclusion of the state’s governorship election.

Adeleke described the appeal as a positive development after weeks of political tension, violence and heated campaigns. He urged members and supporters of all political parties to embrace restraint, reconciliation and unity.

The governor said he was committed to peace and assured Oyebamiji that his supporters would not attack APC members. He also invited former Governor Gboyega Oyetola, Oyebamiji and other opposition leaders to work with his administration for the development of Osun State.

Adeleke said that with the election over, political actors should shift their focus from electoral contests to good governance, democratic dividends and rebuilding relationships across the state.
